Hahn-Bin

Discípulo do legendário Itzhak Perlman, Hahn-Bin, de 22 anos, é um virtuoso do violino. Diferente, cheio de dinamismo, Hahn-Bin encarna uma espécie de renascença da música clássica, fundindo seu repertório altamente evocativo com performances de arte pop, em concertos “extraordinários, inteligentes e bonitos” (The Washington Post) e programas “inspirados, inovadores e estimulantes” (The New York Times).

Nascido em Seoul, Hahn-Bin fez sua estréia internacional com doze anos de idade, numa homenagem a Isaac Stern feita durante o 42o Grammy Awards. Após uma década de estudos sob a tutela de Itzahk Perlman na Juilliard School, Hahn-Bin foi aclamado pela crítica no seu concerto de estréia em 2009, quando ganhou o Prêmio Peter Marino Concert, no Carnegie’s Zankel Hall, e também quando obteve o primeiro lugar na prestigiada Young Concert Artists International Auditions (Audições Internacionais de Jovens Concertistas).



Nesta temporada, Hahn-Bin retorna ao Carnegie Hall na premiere mundial de “Still Life” - uma peça para violino e orquestra que Christopher Cerrone compôs sob medida para ele e para a New York Youth Symphony (Sinfônica Jovem de Nova Iorque). Para a turnê de seu novo recital - “The Five Poisons” (Os Cinco Venenos) - estão previstas apresentações no Museu de Arte Rubin, em Nova Iorque, e no Konzerthaus, em Berlin.

Hahn-Bin apresentou-se recentemente em muitas salas, como o Auditorium du Louvre, em Paris, o Kennedy Center, em Washington, o Museu Isabella Stewart Gardner, em Boston, além de ter participado de eventos com a Queensland Orchestra, na Australia, e com todas as principais orquestras coreanas, incluindo as Filarmônicas de Seoul, Bucheon, e Daejeon, tanto na Coréia como em uma turnê pelo Japão.
